Kevin seals

Kevin Seals was born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey. He entered the United States Navy two weeks after high school graduation in 1985.

​

In a career that spanned 21 years, Kevin achieved the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He was a Damage Controlman (aka a Fire Fighter), and was responsible for shipboard safety. In all, he was stationed on five ships, made two wartime deployments, did one overseas tour in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, completed a Recruiting tour, and served two tours as an instructor. He retired in 2006 and received numerous command and personal commendations.

After retirement, Kevin relocated to Elizabeth City, North Carolina, where he spent the next fourteen years as a city carrier for the United States Postal Service. He retired in 2020. 

​

Since Kevin's retirement, he has spent most of his time volunteering in his community. He shares his story of recovery from serious physical injuries suffered from a near fatal motorcycle accident with others recovering from traumatic injuries.

​

Kevin's most treasured duty is spreading positivity and joy during the holiday season as Santa Claus.
